Experiencing the meeting point of the Indian and Southern oceans is akin to the Cape of Good Hope. It is well worth the trip but be sure to go with plenty of sunlight, as the sun begins setting around 4:30 in the afternoon in May.

Camping with kangaroos on a campground in the forest. It was a great experience and one of the best places that we have stayed at. Highly recommend!

We went into the park at a number of places along its length. Some places were bit bland, some were spectacular, but well worth a few days exploring, maybe a winery or 2 to break up all the views.

We drove through the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park to get to the Mammoth Cave and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. Just had to stop and admire the beautiful and very tall Karri and Marri trees – simply spectacular!
