I reckon the likes of Smiths is a bit better but no denying this is a lovely beach with some tree shade nearby

Great scenery on this easily accessible beach. Some great rock formations, beautiful sand. Even saw a number of dolphins frolicking. Great picnic place as well.

Meelup beach is wonderful little beach near Eagle bay and Bunker bay. It is very protected so would be great for kids. If you come to see the moon rise make sure its the right time of year.

Grandkids loved running on the white sands and dipping their toes into the sparkling azure water. We took our lunch with us and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hours there. Highly recommend a visit there.

This beach was pretty good but I feel like the Western Australians are spoilt with fantastic beaches. Great for swimming, very small swell. I'm not sure if its always that calm. The beach was very quiet. I had my only Kookaburra sighting on this beach...More

Rainy day so we went just for short walk. The beach is tidy, parking is organized, public toilet also.

Although it was a cold day I had to stop in to see Meelup beach and I wasn’t disappointed. The beach and the scenery was amazing although I wish I went for a swim. I will have to visit another time when it’s warmer.
