About
Guided tours offer fascinating insights into the region's extraordinary maritime history and the functions of a working lighthouse. An easy climb of just 59 steps, visitors to the tower balcony are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, and Geographe Bay. Housed within one of the original lightkeepers' cottages, the Lightkeepers’ Museum provides an immersive experience where visitors can explore the stories and experiences of the lightkeepers and their families through interactive technology and remarkable artifacts. The accessible observation platform at the lighthouse's base also offers sweeping ocean views and scenic photo opportunities. Between September and December whales are often seen from the tower and the observation platform as they migrate along the coastline.

    Midget Lighthouse..interesting
since we went to Cape Leeuwin lighthouse all the way south the day b4 we decided to do the one all the way north the next day. the surprise was this lighthouse is very short, since it sits on top of a hill. and the lighthouse keepers had it easier as their dwelling is shielded from the wind, being at bottom of the rise rather than being right in the wind, as was the case at Cape Leeuwin. Took all of 10 mins to see everything but keeper was very friendly and recommended we see Sugarloaf Rock which was well worth seeing.

    Great views!
A wonderful short tour of this historic landmark. Carmen, our guide was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. She answered our questions easily and was both approachable and friendly. The lighthouse itself was interesting and had the best views of the coast and whales migrating out to sea. Highly recommended!

    Worth spending 45mins here!
Suggest to visit before 3pm as there is a closing time to this attraction. We did not take the guided tour but we are all good walking to the lighthouse, take photos, enjoy the sea breeze then stroll back down (just simple one way up and down). Even bought a souvenir from the shop there. I think is a must to visit.

You should visit this lighthouse before the Leeuwin Lighthouse as it is quite short. The waters around the lighthouse are also not as dramatic as at Leeuwin.

Stunning views from the lighthouse and awesome to see where the two oceans meet. Interesting museum that alerts you to the history of the lighthouse. I found the different lighting systems overtime as technology developed to be very interesting. Guide was informative.

We were lucky to get a private tour with Cloe. She explained the historic and nautical significance of the lighthouse and offered a tour with stunning views - it even incöuded a kangaroo-encounter!

Great visit. There are a variety of walks that can be done from here. The lighthouse tour was very good. It’s a small lighthouse so not too many steps (59). Good views. Gift shop is excellent.

Fantastic tour. Dave (if I remember his name correctly), the guide, was a knowledgeable, engaging and helpful guide. He showed his genuine interest in the lighthouse and the surrounding area and was very helpful in suggesting other attractions in the area that would be suitable. He also pointed out whales!
