We picked up a hitchhiker named Chuck just outside of Bunbury and took him to Donnybrook as he has family there. We saw the Apple Fun Park there as we drove through town so we got out to stretch our legs and play on the fun park. Now normally it is for kids but we took over and had a... More

Last thing you would expect driving through a quiet country town is to find a massive activity park for kids, I'm told that a local farmer donated the funds for it, my goodness they excelled with the money, well worth a detour/ stop for anyone on the journey south with young children in tow

Kids love it here. It caters from the very young to young teenagers. It's free to all. There are different areas so the very young can stay in one area while the older ones run around . There are toilets there also. It great to stop by if you're passing through on a long ride.

On our way to Busselton we decided to take a detour and have lunch and play at Apple Fun Park. The park is massive with so much play equipment for our 1 year old and our bigger kids 15,11 and 8 yr olds. There is plenty of sunshade over the play equipment in some sections. Also there are bbq's with gazebos.... More

This place is great! An all day event. Well equipped with BBQs and toilets. Plenty of grassed areas so bring a picnic rug. Not a lot of seating, so at busy times ,you may find yourself laying on the grass 😀 The kids will love this place! It is a must! No dogs allowed

Donnybrooks mega play ground is quite the attraction and a good top over for the long trips wherever you're going, i would recommend this place as its hours of endless fun for the children not too fun for the parent though.
