You’ll definitely need a 4WD for this trek. It will be well worth your while to make it all the way to the tippy top! The colours were fantastic.

We only had a small camper-van so we could only visit the homestead but that was enough. The self-guided tour is great with signage that is self explanatory and leads us through the history of the homestead. However, the real pleasure is the artesian "pool"...More

We have a 2WD so just drove to the Peron Heritage Precinct. There was a homestead full of information about the area, and the farm layout was still obvious. We learnt lots of history - both from the pastoralist and indigenous point of view, and...More

This park is definately 4 WD territory. We visited various areas of Cape Peron pennisula and were amazed at the landscape. The seacoast areas like the Peron tip with all the birds just sunning themselves or Skipjack point overlooking the shallows full of marine life...More

You need a 4WD to enjoy the driving. Soft sand and bumpy tracks. Great beaches to get to...make sure you don’t get stuck. Enjoyable day, well worth a visit.

We joined a half day tour to Francois Peron National Park. Really no regret! The park is full of wonderful beaches. We could even see sharks. Please bring enough sunscreen.

I booked a 4WD tour through the Ocean Park. Guide was incredibly knowledgeable and a delicious fresh lunch was provided. Would definitely recommend this tour.
