A hidden gem! What a fantastic theme park!
Best theme park we’ve been to (and we’ve done Disney in Florida!) very clean and a great range of rides to suit all tastes. The theming is good with different country areas. The longest queue we waited in was 40 mins which compared to Disney (1-2 hours for most) was fantastic! It never felt too busy in the park. The food was really well priced and good quality, again a breath of fresh air after Disney. I love that Europa park have the virtual queue system free and available for all, this works so well (how Disney used to be until they got too greedy and monetised it) We loved it and would recommend it!!

    Stunning rollercoasters
A very nice theme park with lots of rollercoasters which satisfy the needs of adrenaline junkies. The virtual lines ensure that you do not have to wait for every attraction. Especially the wooden Wodan and the steel Blue Fire mega coaster are worth it. The restrooms are very clean and prices of food are decent.

    Europa park theme park
We stayed on site in the bell rock hotel in europa park for a week. Europa park is a very big with plenty of attractions to choose from. The shows in the park in general are of an excellent standard which you would expect as a stand alone experience. The park has a huge variety of rides and attractions for all age groups and is well run and very clean with queues for even the most popular attractions rarely exceeding 30-40 minutes. In summary an excellent theme park which you will need a couple of days to experience properly especially if you have younger kids with you.

    Wow!
This was our first visit to Europark with our two teenage children (13 & 15). First thing to mention is this park is huge. If you’ve been to any theme park in the UK, then you’ve never been to anything like this park. Yes, it had its usual long queues, but apart from the ‘virtual queues’ which not many people seem to use, everyone queued at the same rate, so no annoying fast pass people making you wait longer still. While in the queues there are drinks and ice cream kiosks dotted around, so at least if you are getting hot you can grab a well deserved drink. The queue routes are well designed so you never felt you are queuing for too long. The park is set into different country zones, and we got on the monorail and started in the Spanish section which is furthest from the main entrance. The rides we went on were excellent, and we managed to get on 8 large rides the day we were there (10th August), and we quickly realised we’d have needed 2-3 days to get around all the park. Sadly we only had time for 1 day on this visit, but we would go back in the future. The park is immaculate and appeared well maintained, and they looked to be building new rides ready for the 2024 season. The food and drink was priced at a level you’d expect a theme park to charge a captive audience - Expensive! But no surprises there. Overall, a really nice place to visit!

Beautiful experience but rent a car
The park is awesome, yet they have to extend their opening hours! Make sure not to take the public transportation if you're coming from zürich, as Germany is not ponctual in its train schedule as Switzerland. Consider renting a car.

    Really great.
Travelled here with our 7 year old in July 2023. We stayed in the campsite attached (which is also excellent) and visited the park twice and the water park once. The water park is fairly new and brilliant. You get a wristband to pay for lockers, food and drink. Lots of slides and pools. The theme park has some brilliant rides for all ages. Queues were not too bad either, longest wait was about 40 minutes. Cost was much cheaper than Disney equivalent.

    Nice park
One day visit, not overnight stay. Family Of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids ages 10 and 12). The park is very compact compared to the American parks. Food prices are VERY affordable (again, compared to the food prices in the American parks). A combo costs €12 (a drink, a burger and French fries). Every country/section also has its own National food specialty. A coffee at a coffee house about €3. We didn’t use any fast track apps or passes. The longest ride we waited was Wudan, about 50 minutes. All others were around 10-20 minutes. Not bad at all. Photos are around €4 and you print them from machines. You can bring your own food and drinks as well

    Amazing Theme Park
Visited in the summer hols as a large family with teens. Everyone absolutely loved the theme park! The themed lands were brilliant and felt so authentic, including relevant food outlets fitting each land, which we really liked. The park was well laid out, clean and had great amenities. The map and app were great and helps visitors make the most of the park and navigation was easy as a result. Considering it was the school holidays we didn’t find the queue times excessive, with our longest queue time being 40mins (nothing compared to peak queue times at Alton Towers)…and that was only on one ride! The rides themselves were fantastic and offered big thrills for our family, along with a great assortment of family rides. The app helps you make the most of your time with real time queuing information and the virtual line feature was great too! Overall faultless…one of the best theme parks we’ve been to in Europe! We will definitely be back.

Super park - except for drinking water
Really good theme park. Beautifully maintained and something for all ages. We spent 2 days here. Excellent App with virtual queuing. Very nice food options at fair prices. The only reason it is not a 5 star review is due the expensive prices charged for drinking water, iced teas etc and the fact that there are no drinking water fountains available. We visited the park during 35 degree weather and the lack of drinking water fountains were disappointing

    Great rides and amazing food
I love this park, me and my girlfriend visit this place atleast every 2 or 3 years. It has something for everyone. From young children to adults. Rollercoasters are larger compared to the ones you find in most other european parks and the food is absolutely amazing. I would especially like to recommend the Rock cafe near the entrance. Absolutely superb. The only downside to this park is the Mack family. They founded the park, which is a great achievement. But their vanity knows no bounds. You have every right to be proud of your family legacy but placing your name and/or face on almost every prominent building in the park is a little much in my opinion... Other than that its a great park you should really visit. You won't be disappointed.

The park itself is very well built and beautiful to see. Although, the indications are poor and you can't notice clearly when you're passing through each zone. The app works very bad too, so you really can't rely on it to guide you through the park. Overall, I didn't like the park. Very confusing to know how to get to the attractions, at one point we decided just to walk forward in hope that we found what we wanted.
Also i'm more into thrill rides than familiar ones and shows and that's not what europa park is best at. Only 1 good roller-coaster. The good thing about this park was the shows that were really nice. If you have kid, it's for you. If you're alone and want to have fun, probably not for you.

How does a day with the familly at Europapark look like?

You pay the parking place 8euro for 1 car: after 40minutes of car drive and 20minutes to reach the parking (too much cars at entry), 20 minutes to reach the europapark by foot.
You arrive at 11h30 and you are happy.

First attraction: you wait 1h for a 5minute attraction, you realize that it is worse on other attractions (90min+).
You install the app "virtual line": impossible to have 1 quick wait time.

At 13h20 after 1 attraction, you found a "restaurant" you wait again 20minute to eat a hotdog drink and donut 10Euros.
You restart the queue at 14H till 19H, you are lucky if you can do 4 attractions.

The streets are so crowdy that it is even difficult to walk.

Conclusion: 333euros for 5 attraction
wait time: 9H
Play time: 50min
5 persons: 55EuroX5 = 275euro
Parking: 8Euros
Food: 50

The worst day every!
This used to be a good and solid park. One of the best in Germany in based in my opinion.

But with time passing by and my recent visit, they won‘t see me again.
Anyone truely interested in a themepark, here is my advice: Go to Disney and forget this cheap copy!

Corona still being very present in Germany but in the Europapark? Well leave all your social obstacles at the entrace gate and don‘t worry they barely have enough staff to clean the toilet!

- smoke Weed everywhere: no problem
- drink as much as you can, scream shoot : don’t worry they don’t care
- wear no masks, keep no distance and let us just all pretend there is no Corona? That’s great come in!

While the rest of the staff is doing a poor and ignorant job, the PR department is the true star of the park: in every newspaper you can read EP has a great concept!

Ridiculous they should lock this place down!!

Everything is outdated the queues are ridiculous, the food is cheap fried stuff (quality level of a bad gas station) and the prices are well above the quality they offer.

They do have a few good rides but this park lives in the past. The new pirate attraction is in every aspect centuries behind what Disney is doing while they brazenly copy the true Pirates ride.

The people in the park all seem to have adapted on this new management focus because money and profit is the only motivation. Very sad, the health and well being of people should be a major concern as well.

Mallorca Style Tourists and the same behavior!

Do yourself and your family something good and stay away!

I have been to Europa Park for my birthday 2 times and 2 times as a trip. I came back because it is the most Amazing theme park ever! The attractions are for all ages, fron the little ones to the big ones. Now you do have to wear masks on attractions, but it is still very fun. The park is split up into different " Countries ", and every country has it's one themed attractions and food. The best ride is in Germany, " Silver Star". It has a killer drop at the start and the it has big ramps. Also there is a ride called " Blue Fire " which has a loop and 360 degree rotations, it speed up 100km in 3.5 seconds. The food there is fabulous. Huge variety of good quality food, best place is at the food loop. The food loop delivers your foods and drinks straight to your table in about 5-10 minutes. It is a food roller coaster. The line is long but it is worth waiting. It is a very special place for a family or a group of freinds/ Couple. Reccomend to come in the summer but, to choose a right date to come because of the weather and amount of people.

Horrible experience! Hygiene concept due to COVID-19 sounds good on paper but is not enforced at all. We really didn‘t feel safe and eventually left early.

Too many people, no distancing observed (1.5m marks on the ground are just for decoration I guess), hardly anyone is wearing masks, even indoors and the worst: when you ask staff (if you are lucky getting a hold of anyone!) they basically tell you that they can‘t do anything about people not adhering to rules…

Rollercoasters etc are fun but definitely not worth catching the virus!

Definitely not recommended if you care about your health!!!

Second visit to Europa-Park for our family of five.
Again we have chosen to go during the week to avoid too much people. Again too much people to really enjoy some animations, even if we arrived very early.
Perhaps I have all wrong the concept of these parks... but when we start to have more than one hour waiting per animation, does it make sense?
We had the chance to have one tour of the Scandinavian rafting, but then it was impossible to do it again, unless waiting more than one hour. As we are in the Covid period, and not a lot of people have understood the concept of social distancing, even with the marks on the ground, we did not feel secure. And went to other attractions. There were not so many available. Therefore, I am not sure this sort of park are a good choice for the clients. All in all, we can’t enjoy the attractions as too many people are allowed to enter. It is too much expensive for the real service obtained.
Cherry on top of the cake: we were into the Lindt boutique, enjoying a fresh glass of chocolate just bought. The day was really warm and the air-conditioning created the perfect conditions for a relaxing moment.
We were, unfriendly, requested to go outside and leave the place to other customers.
I understand the Covid situation. At the same time, we have all to learn to wait. And leave an agreable moment to the customers, instead of chasing them. I would like to to underline that the five of us were enjoying Lindt products, just purchased into the boutique.
The brands should pay attention to train their teams.

So the sat nav said 3.2 hours to get here from Geneva. Er, more like 4.5. Then we had to queue for a shuttle bus from the parking. Which dropped us at the side entrance. Now I don't mind that kind of thing - sometimes its a shortcut. But it was not in this case. 3 cash desks serving a queue north of 300, running down a narrow exterior space. They hadn't thought this through. Then we had to queue to get to food for another 30 mins. We sat down pretty exhausted ! But then the fun started - the food at the Asian restaurant was pretty darn good. We then did the main 4 rides over the space of the afternoon / evening. Wodan (wooden coaster) was whip quick and really good fun. I loved the loops and corkscrews of blue fire. Euro Mir was a bit milder, but then dangled you over the edge perilously. The most heart stopping was Silver Star. Good Merc themed exhibits around it. The top of the ride was in cloud it was so high. Straight up. Almost straight down. Wow, several heart in mouth moments on this ride. So 4 rides in 6 hours. Would I go again ? Not sure that represents good value. The rides were fun and the Xmas decs & lighting great. The queues were not. Try to find an off peak moment people. It will save hours of your life ! However, I have to say that all our teens all loved it. When can you say that with 6 of them between us ?

WOW…where do I start? You could visit this park, not go on a single ride and still leave having experienced a real feast for the senses, the attention to detail is just stunning. The whole park is full of little touches that they really could have got away without doing…for example, every single toilet in the park is themed to the area it is in, the highlight being the weeing gnome in Grimms Enchanted Forest! We posted a photo on social media of us in the Greece area and people genuinely thought we were in Greece! When it comes to the rides they are varied and plentiful, whatever your age there are lots of them to keep you happy. CanCan coaster was a particular favourite of ours and a perfect example of a rollercoaster that without theming wouldn’t be anything special…but the queue line, lighting and onride audio ensures you leave with a huge grin on your face! We spent three whole days there and felt that this was the perfect length…queue times were very reasonable and we managed to do pretty much all of the rides and shows. The park is spotlessly clean with immaculately tended gardens and was simply magical! Probably the best non Disney theme park in the world?

Awfull experience! Even though one had to buy tickets in advance, the whole park was crowded. Waiting times for rides were at least one hour. Waiting times for food or beverages alway exceeded 30 minutes. All in all most of the time people were waiting. Virtual lines were booked out throughout the day all the time.
The crowds were steadily packed together, people rarely wearing masks and only sometimes reminded to wear them.

All in all very poor experience for 60€ per person. Would not recommend.
