A great place to visit and remember the old Punjabi era.

The place was clean. Toilets were immaculate.

The food was outstanding. There are carts outside with starters and main meal can be eaten inside the restaurant. The restaurant service is excellent. The waiters really couldn't do enough for us. We came from the UK and were hesitant about eating out here but we had no issues whatsoever.

The entertainment is also very good.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in this area.

RANGALA PUNJAB Is an ideal location to enjoy your weekends

it highlites the punjabi tradition in full galore.

Located conviniently at g.t. Road on jalandhar phagwara highway , it is an ideal stop over to take a little break and an ideal place to enjoy.

It ha s a full picture- sculpture museum depicting punjabi culture and true life of a punjabi village.

Live cultural show is organised everyday evening from 7-11 pm.
Apart from this there are various stalls showing entertainment of yester years- viz; biscope, puppet show-putli ka nach, bandar ka nach, jamoora, jadoogar ka majma(magician show), hand driven merry go round and special attraction for childern is horse ride and camel ride

potter at the entrance make u learn pottery on clay -n - wheel. And one would love seeing how from a mound of clay one can design such beatiful pots and surahis just by twist if his fingers and pressure of his palm

and last not the least, a tasty punjabi vegetarian buffet served in a full traditional fashion as if you are guest at some zamindaar's haveli is star attraction.
One should spare at least 3 hours to enjoy this whole and capture the memories on a cam for lifetime

entry fee for it which includes the buffet and live shows is vey nominal

ENTRY FEE FOR IT WHICH INCLUDES THE BUFFET AND LIVE SHOWS IS VERY NOMINAL

The place is built like a village from twenty-thirty years ago. There is even a house or two (small ones) made in traditional Punjabi style. There is a resident potter who can help you make a clay pot. No, they don't let you take it :-( The food is good, made in desi ghee and there can be a long waiting on weekends and holidays. A fixed menu plan (veg) and a fixed price one too. You can eat as much as you want. In fact, the servers (it'll be an insult to call them waiters) gently insist that you have another serving. A novel experience. There is a live Bhangra and Giddha show at night, again worth the price. Overall, one must go, if only once.

Waiters at Range Punjab have no etiquettes. Don't you guys give a training to your servers? Pathetic experience over there. Your server was asking for a tip on face and for what? below average food, no hospitality, no privacy, standing on heads all the time when we were having a dinner and making us uncomfortable whole time, Have no respect for the people visiting the place. If they don't give the tip they disrespect them by saying "ke kaise kaise log aa jate" on back. You brainless and idiots, we paid money in advance at the ticket counter and i.e Rs 1000 per person. So, log ta change hi aande ne but your team needs to learn hospitality. Teach them how to speak and behave with customers.

Mr. Satish Jain and her daughter this message for you - What's the benefit of having degree from abroad when you can't give training to your staff.

Not gonna visit again jyaada hi dimaag kharaab hogaya inna lokka da.

We had heard a lot about how the haveli was a must see, the food was good and there was entertainment in the evening- however our visit left a sour taste in our mouths. We arrived at 4:30pm. While we were looking around we were ushered in to the restaurant because they wanted us to eat right then. The restaurant service was good, however soon after we exited we were informed we had to leave that our tickets expired at 5pm. We were told that we would have to now buy a new dinner ticket if we wished to stay. We asked why we weren't advised when we bought the entry tickets, they said it wasn't their responsibility. Waited to talk to the GM for 20min, when we did speak to him he was stand-offish and he told us the rules were on the tickets, and it was our problem not his that we did not read it. Since you dont have access to tickets until you purchase them and the tickets are non refundable so what is the purpose of posting the rules on the ticket-clearly they are trying to rip people off. When asked why there was no signage at the ticket booth we were told that there was no reason for them to have signage. Will never return.

For those who wish to still go there beware they will do anything for a quick buck and there is no point in talking to the GM as he doesn't know the first thing about customer service. Also dont arrive before 6pm there is not much to do before 6pm.

We really enjoyed the experience of visiting Haveli. This is worth a half day visit. We went in the evening and enjoyed the bhangra music and comedy in particular. There is plenty to keep you occupied.

The food is pretty bog standard (vegetarian only), but all considered, worth it.

This was one of the highlights of our stay in India. We have spent almost half a year in Punjab, but this place was indeed fascinating and it represented all you need to know about the culture, traditions and mostly food. You pay a fee that is higher than a normal restaurant( equivalent of maybe 5 Euros) , but the value of what you get is immeasurable. People dressed in nice punjabi costumes, Dancers, shows, camels, traditional houses that you can visit, a lot of crafts that you can buy and....the highlight... "a punjabi all you can eat". The food was the best i have had there, people very nice and the whole experience was...a thrill.
A MUST see in PUNJAB . :)
