Our first jungle hike was to get over here, seeing lot of wildlife around, like otters, birds and caimans! Our guide Tim was very helpful, showing us the spots where to see them. The air is very hot and humid but that's how the junge...More

The trek to the lake through the jungle was great. We went aboard a platform boat driven by Leo who pushed and steered the boat to strategic spots where we saw otters, birds and went pirana fishing. It was a great experience

I thoroughly enjoyed Pirana fishing. There were heaps in the water. Got bites immediately when the bait hit the water. You have to be extremely quick on the strike as they strip the bait so quick. Caught other types of small fish too.

Peaceful and relaxing 2 hours on a catamaran punt. No motors or outside noise, just the sounds of the gently lapping water and the jungle. Chance to spot Black Cayman, Kingfishers, Anhingas or "Snake Birds", Blue Macaws, Hoatzin or "Stinkbird" and more. Also fishing for...More

Loved the bird watching and the local wildlife. This includes the piranha fishing. We went as part of an activity with Posadas Amazonas (a great company).

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the Lake spotting wildlife. We saw caiman, macaws, a Tarantula and even managed to sneak in some Piranha fishing. Very half day excursion.
