Good sceneric view, difficult to access from Recife as you depend upon Government transport or use your own transport, good for spending 3-4 hours and not much.

This has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. The peace and tranquility it not to be believed!

The best thing is that there are so few people. Hopefully, this place will keep its charm once it is discovered!

Anywhere else and this would be making all the list of the world’s most beautiful beaches. It is largely deserted even in peak season because it is fringed by private estates and the security plus the nature reserve rangers ‘discourage’ many of the locals. It is like the famed Cable Beach in Broome, wide sand stretching for kilometres. Except it is fringed with coconut palms.
The one issue is it is caught in the shark warning zone. Presumably this is because of its proximity to Boa Viagem where many bull shark attacks have happened. I don’t know. There were local surfers happily out on the breaks but otherwise people only stay in the shallows.

Lovely beach with strong surf that is close to Recife and within the master-planned community for Reserva do Paiva. Not many facilities except for the area around the Sheraton hotel.

Its a tranquil beach, beautiful sand, sprawling, with no-one around.. The waves are big but the beach is much more child friendly at low tide. Its in an ecological reserve, so lovely palm tree forest all around.

This is a beautiful beach area being developed for luxury homes with easy access to Recife. What shocked me and turned me off is that ever fifty meters there are large official signs warning of the sharks in the water. Frightening. But for a quick day trip using the new bridge from the road from Boa Viagem is can be combined with other beaches to the south (Pedra do Xareu, Enseada dos Corais) for a nice excursion.

Paiva beach in PE is not suitable for swimming, be prepared to walk, the expanse of coconut trees is beautiful, and there are no local shops so take something to eat. Leaving Porto de Galinhas there will be two toll booths and the route is quiet, with good roads.
