This beach is located on the opposite side on the island, and is only accessible by foot in the morning, before the tide gets too high.

The village of Gambia is very small..and within a hour walk from Moro de sao Paulo. Water taxi's running between site's every halt an hour. Beaches are quiet with some local bars and restaurants. Some water activities : kayaking , SAP, boat touring.

Walk right from the harbour along the beach. Check in your hotel when the tide is low. Get you body covered with the clay and take some brilliant shots and videos. From Gamboa take the boat back.

You can reach gamboa beach on foot when the tide is low. It's calmer than the other beaches but not less charming, there is very good restaurants beach front

I loved this beach, its white powder sand, the colorful fishing boats, the tranquility, plus it is walking distance to the thermal mud.

Gamboa is a bit far from the very touristic areas. It's beautiful and has very calm waters between river and ocean. I recommend walking there in the morning or beginning of the afternoon and coming back by boat by sunset (because of the high tide)

Relaxed atmosphere and affordable food. Take a walk in the quiet streets behind the beach. It's possible to walk to Gamboa from Morro on the beach at low tide, but don't miss the opportunity to hike along the dusty road. Approximately 45 min each way.

Gamboa is were the locals of Morro live. It's more down to earth and less wealthy but more authentic. The beach here is a long stretch of white sand. You'll find beach huts ( less sophisticated than the Morro ones) were you can grab cold...More
