We visited in August and it is a small little museum. It is interesting to see the real artifacts discovered from shipwrecks and learn the history behind the items found. It is free but you can pay a small donation to help keep it running....More

we found out the hard way that this cute little museum is closed on Wednesdays - it is over a souvenir shop on Hwy 1 between Bethany Beach and Ocean City.

Our friend told us about this museum. We were impressed and enjoyed some great conversation with the owner. Too bad we didn't know of this when had our family at FI last summer, and best of all, it's FREE!!

My husband and I chose to see the Discover Shipwreck Museum while planning our DE vacation. There were many artifacts on display and information. The museum is on the second floor of the Sea Shell City. Lots of fun and shopping here also. .

Enter through Sea Shell City. It is upstairs. Check their hours first. Hours are different than shop. It is interesting and fun for all ages: kids, teens, adults. Kids also like the souvenir shop downstairs!
