My wife and I decided to walk from Palm Beach to Eagle Beach to see the Divi Divi tree. We left the Riu Antillas hotel, and started the walk. Should have brought some water for this 1-mile walk in 90 F weather, using the GPS. We finally reached our destination, to see two Divi Divi trees on Eagle Beach. Unfortunately, the "locals" were set-up with lawn chairs and picnic supplies under the trees. Not good to take pictures that we wanted! We thought there would be a sign, or roped off for a famous tree(s), etc... nope, party time under the trees for the locals. Would not recommend this visit if you have to walk a long way for not much of anything....

Finally found the tree but it is in a stinky, I mean stinky area/beach. I was told it came from Passions restaurant but honestly it smelled like sewer. If you have a weak stomach, I wouldn’t go. I felt like I smelled this beach the rest of the night. That is why my rating is 3.

These 2 Divi trees are nicely located in Palm Beach. If you're planning to get your picture with these trees, make sure to go early as it can get busy later during the day. It's the most picturesque trees in Aruba.

I believe there are more spots with beautiful and unique for Aruba Divi trees around the shoreline (the other area other than Eagle Beach being Arashi Beach) but this is THE ONE you want visit.

FYI: "The famous Divi Divi (Watapana) tree is Aruba's natural compass, always pointing in a southwestern direction due to the trade winds that blow across the island from the north-east. Aruba's trademark: the Divi Divi or Watapana tree."

We tried to find another place during our first visit 2 years ago and the one we bumped into at Arashi Beach just didn't look as pretty as this Eagle Beach location one (FYI there are two Divi trees next to each other here, additional bonus compared to other locations from our experience)

TIP: there is a parking spot on the street along the very end of this beach right by Amsterdam Manor hotel (Google Maps has it mapped as well).

Aruba is known for the Divi tree. A very special type of tree that gets his leaning from the constant wind.

The Divi Tree is a great photo opt but it can get busy, A good place to have your picture with a Divi tree and the ocean is on the north end of Eagle Reach, They actual have one tree with yellow swing, that is great to take pictures of friends on.

Most photographed tree on Aruba. Nice story as told by our guide. Actually the pair on Eagle beach in the sand are "Fofoti" trees. The "Divi-Divi" looks similar and are everywhere on the Island.

I’d never seen trees like this surviving on a sand beach near the salt water. They look so great lots of wedding photos take place here but they’re not always busy do you go at the right time and have them to yourself.
