Ester and her husband were charming. The meal was simply prepared and served. The highlight was the background information presented by Esther about life in an orthodox family with 10 children. She shared day to day activities and the religious customs still practiced. She is highly educated, speaks English fluently and is willing to answer any and all questions. Highly recommended.

Esther’s husband spoke to us about tge deep religious and spiritual reason people like them are in Israel - because it is written in the Torah that this is where it will happen: the Messiah and redemption.

She is an amazing cook and mother of 10! We were fortunate to meet her husband and one of her daughters that just had a baby boy two weeks ago! Learning more about a Jewish Orthodox life style and traditions was awesome. She explained everything in detail and answered all our question! Our small group was able to have this marvelous experience through Overseas Adventure Travel!

Our small group of travelers from the U.S. had the unique opportunity last night to be hosted by Esther and her husband for an excellent dinner and discussion. Our knowledge of Jewish Orthodox was very limited and Esther was kind enough to prepare a traditional dinner. Both she and her husband kept the conversation very basic and we came away from the evening with a full stomach and enough information to expand our interest in their religion and way of life.
We feel that our visit to Israel would not be complete without experiencing this wonderful evening. I highly recommend this opportunity.
