There were plenty of wineries all around the whole lake. We drove around the lake and had lunch in Geneva. We stopped to do wine tastings at two wineries. Purchased 3 bottles. The views of the lake from some of the stops was just beautiful!!!!

We had so much fun visiting the wineries. Be sure to visit Genora Winery. Outstanding wines. Their restaurant however is lacking, at lunchtime anyway. Over worked waitress, lousy salad served with no bread. Soup was good.More

Enjoyed many wineries on the trail over a long weekend anniversary celebration. We will definitely return as there were so many more places to visit - could not fit them all in!

Must visit- Barnstormer, Fix Run, Hillsboro, Liedenfrost, Wagner wineries. Love the semi-dry Rieslings in the area and the Ports at Liedenfrost and Fox Run.

This is a great weekend excursion. There are plenty of wineries with tastings of both white and red, sweet and dry. You are bound to find something that trips your tastebuds. Way too many to do in even a long weekend. But you can try!More

That is a great question, and there is no universally accurate answer: time of year, day of the week you're visiting, and a host of other factors play into this. Probably 30-45 minutes per winery is a good estimate. Visit... More
