Well worth a few hours to explore this large forested area. Access is best made via the Jacana Lodge track.
Birds galore including Shining Blue Kingfisher, Blue breasted Kingfisher and many others.

The drive to Jacana Lodge through this forest is great birding territory with many species waiting to be seen.
We even got to see the fantastic Shining Blue Kingfisher as well as its cousin the Blue-breasted. Finfoot on the lake.
Unmissable.

Wonderful guide, very knowledgeable of the forest. The huge bat cave and it's other inhabitants was a surprise to us. You'll find so many types of monkeys. If you need a deep forest walk experience, this is the place to visit.

I did not know what to expect but we had a wonderful guide who took us on a lovely nature walk, lots of birds, and quite an experience seeing a large bat cave! Many primate sightings. well worth it. Wear sunscreen, hat and 20-30 minutes after application of sunscreen, then apply bug spray, 20-30% DEET. If applied sooner, will inactivate each other.
