One of the target of tourism in Stone Town, then it's just a hotel which you can not see anything about him, just at the entrance on two sides of the door you can see some photos of him and nothing impressive!

We stopped by here as my partner was a big Freddy Mercury Fan. There really only seemed to be a door to get a photo outside however it was crowded as expected. Unsure what else to see or do here, other than the door. However...More
We only saw it from the outside, like most of Stone town's "atractions". Lots of guys around trying to fool you into letting them be your guides to an empty house. We know who Freddie Mercury was quite well and he only lived in Zanzibar...More

As I recall - the guide we had indicated Farouk (Freddie) went away to school - first in India, then in England - before his family finally fled Zanzibar.. ask your guide in Stone Town - they will know all the details.. have... More
