One of the target of tourism in Stone Town, then it's just a hotel which you can not see anything about him, just at the entrance on two sides of the door you can see some photos of him and nothing impressive!

In July while we were staying in Zanzibar, we took a trip to Stone City and one of the attraction that was shown to us during the city guided trip was Mercury's House. There's not really much to see. Just a house with the door...More

This is apparently a house where Freddy lived for a short period, not the actual birth house which is close to the Serena Hotel. The doors were locked, you can read what's posted outside, I think there is a gift shop inside. I took a...More

This building is situated in the heart of stone town, its a part of Tembo House Hotel. Good to have a quick stop over as its a part of Zanizbar’s music history.

We came across the house where Freddy Mercury stayed with his parents before relocation to Britain. Nice looking house from the outside.

Nice place to visit while in the city. There is not much to see, just the door and some history about Freddy and his life. It doesn't take any effort to go there, you will pass it whether you want or not, so why not....More

We stopped by here as my partner was a big Freddy Mercury Fan. There really only seemed to be a door to get a photo outside however it was crowded as expected. Unsure what else to see or do here, other than the door. However...More

We only saw it from the outside, like most of Stone town's "atractions". Lots of guys around trying to fool you into letting them be your guides to an empty house. We know who Freddie Mercury was quite well and he only lived in Zanzibar...More
