We went on a two day Safari trip to Selous with Halisi African Adventures and had a great experience that really exceeded our expectations!
We saw all kinds of animals; giraffes, zebras, elephants, wild beasts, buffalos, hippos, wart hogs, lions (11 in total!), impalas, monkeys etc. The lodge we stayed at was comfortable and clean. The staff was nice and the food good. Last but not least we had the nicest guide Frank who taught us a lot about the animals and nature in Tanzania and also put up with our load singing in the car. We would definitely recommend Halisi African Adventures for a great experience.

We did a day trip through Flash Tours.
We were staying in Zanzibar. So early start and then flew over at 6.15.
By 7am we were on our way round the safari.
Big thank you to Abel and shabani. Our guide and driver. Both helping to make the day a success.
We saw so many animals and birds.
Unbelievable - Abel said we were very lucky.
We spotted lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, zebras, warthogs, hyenas, fish eagle, kingfisher, vulture, crocodiles and many, many more.
Would definitely recommend the day trip to Selous and Flash Tours.

Wonderful Safari experience. Pre-trip communication with Elizabeth  was efficient, very helpful and they worked hard to reschedule and sort out our problems. Once we got to Africa everything was seamless, airport pickup and internal transfers were great. We decided to go on a 5-day tour from Dar -Selous Game Reserve & Mikumi National Park. Our driver, Davis, was very knowledgeable about the park and took the time to track down all of the animals we had hoped to see, which we appreciated. The accommodations were nice. The food was very delicious. Everything with the tour ran perfectly on time and our driver was very flexible based on how many game drives we wanted to go on each day. I would definitely recommend this tour company!

The Safari with Halisi African Adventures was by far the highlight of our trip. They recomended us the Selous, which was much less touristic than per example the Serengeti. Nevertheless we saw all the amazing animals Africa has to offer, especially because Brighton was very attentiv all day long to find them. He also rented a great Camp near the Park for overnight stays with great food. As it was very hot during the day, Brighton was always prepared with a lot of water bottles inside the car (something other guides didn‘t offer).

All in all I highly recommend you to book a trip with Halisi African Adventures, Brighton is very gentle, knows a lot of good places and has a huge knowledge about the wild animals.

We did a 3 day itinerary of the Selous Game Reserve booked through TanzAmerica Safaris LTD, our tour guide was Silas. We did a sunset boat safari the day we arrived and the next two days we did game drives around the reserves. We got to see many animals including a family of elephants, two lionesses, many alligators, giraffes, zebras, hippos, etc. We had a splendid time! We stayed at the African safari lodge, were elephants visited the lake in our lodge at night and also a few pigs came up to us for nibbles during dinner time, it was very really cool experience!
