Amazing opportunity to purchase western brands for around 60% more than you can back home. More staff than customers in shops, observe their faces light up when you walk into their stores and they have to tear themselves away from their mobile phone screens. Fabulous and (probably) technically ingenious Aircon system, actually heats you up and then cools you down when you leave the building. Dispirited family groups enjoying coffee and cake experiences in a sterile mall setting for the bargain price of €10 pp. Giants of gastronomy welcome connoisseurs of fine dining - KFC, Nandos and the highly rated (1.4 star) Yum Cha, to name but a few. Bright spark entrepreneurial niche boutiques specialising in the unforeseen vacation emergency! I need an artisanal gin with hints of blueberries and avocado, covered! I need an 8000 piece Tudor galleon replica, repeat with canvass sales, also covered.....Feeling hot (due to the ingenious Aircon system) and looking for a water-based spritz product (to cool you down) but only have a budget of €25? No problem, this mall has got you covered.
Everyone looks delightfully bored and disappointed, the whole experience feels like a simulated computer game from 2004. It's a truly fabulous place to visit, so do yourself a favour and tear yourselves away from the beaches and come and be part of this developer's vision. To quote the marketing material, 'imagine a place where pleasure meets the practical'.

This is just to rate the Cantonese Restaurant at the Food Court, otherwise the mall seems to provide good services. First, we have to wait 30min to have our simple chicken-rice meals to be prepared. Then, my friend had an okeish dish but my dish was almost non-eatable - half bones, half fat. Also the portions were very small. We won't go there again.

La Croisette is a great shopping mall that has something for everyone. Plenty of fashion shops, big supermarket, plenty of parking, places to eat, shops selling electronic equipment, cafes, a gym, sports shops. ATM & household furniture.
Great place to spend a few hours & get out of the sun.

Mauritius has decided to go into malls in recent years, especially ones that are accessible to tourists as well as locals. Croisette is a big open air malls as well as having shops indoors. Pridemark was the most popular shop at the time of visit and they also have several hypermarkets as well as a food court with KFC, Nandos, Ocean Basket. You can cool off with an ice cream at Milky Lane.
The shopping was not all that, Pridemark disappointed with its lack of designer seconds, the Woolworth shop which is still operating in Africa was expensive although we did go to the hypermarket and went for a bite to eat.
There is a free shuttle bus service from Grand Baie to the mall.

This mall opened one year ago and serves the community very well.
Besides the usual shops its home to Intermart, the French supermarket and Foodlovers (South African) which sells good quality food.
It has several wine bars and restaurants as well as the usual fast food outlets in its food court.
The children's play area goes down well with the little ones and there's always some kind of craft fair or entertainment going off in the main outdoor area.
A lot of businesses relocate here when it opened - MCB, and other banks, Mauritius Telecom, Emtel etc.
Theres a huge underground car park which connects to the Mall via lifts and travelators.
One of my favourite shopping malls.

Average mall, with a few branded shops. All in all nothing special. A nice supermarket, few clothing stores, jewelers etc. went to pass the time. Food lovers is now tiny with a large stock of Waitrose. Coffee shops beware full of flies sitting on pastries. Unhygienic!!

I have recently moved Mauritius from the UK. I have settled in Grand Baie and live very close to La Croisette. It is a great place to go to, I visit most days, partly for food shopping (Intermart is the supermarket or Food Lovers Market) they always have what I need. There is also a good variety of shops, ie: clothing, footwear, sports shops, etc, as well as a good selection of restaurants which cater for most tastes. A generally all round good place to visit.

Nice mall and concept. Upper floors are residential units and these are well located with many amenities and facilities for people that prefer this lifestyle. On the upper floors there is even a medical clinic. Other than stores (independent and majors) you can find movie theaters, indoor parking, banks and Government offices such as the Civil Status office (for birth certificates etc)
This Mall is a major commercial and residential hub for the north end of the island.

Bonjour,
Est ce que dans le cadre d'une formule en pension complète, il est possible de diner dans chacun de vos 5 restaurants sans supplément ?
Et est ce que vos viandes sont halal ?
Merci d'avance pour vos réponses.
