What a neat experience to visit this home! It's well worth the 30 minute drive from Palmyra. It was great to see the place where the LDS church was organized and hear the stories that the volunteer guides tell. Make time to watch the films,...More

This is a very well restored historic site. LDS missionaries give a great presentation in a very friendly atmosphere. Free admission. Easy parking. Minimal walking required. Sacred to LDS church members but friendly and open to all.

Tell ya a bunch of made up stories, geared very clearly towards a Mormon crowd. Really freaky and weird for non-Mormons.

To enter the home, you must go to the visitors center first and be accompanied by a guide (missionary). This is an important location in Mormon history. It's a little hard to get to, but it's worth it.
