Very nice, Contemporary Art but not radical. Pretty conservative in a way. Not a pretty Museum but hip looking and chic. People love this museum because it has great adult education classes of all kinds having to do with all different types of culture. The people who run this museum are thoughtful. The classes are exceptional And they have wonderful... More

Come check out the Parrish Art Museum. There are a lot of great exhibits to see and they have tours on Wednesdays and Sundays. They have a permanent collection of William Merritt Chase. They have music in the summer outside on Friday Nights under the patio.

Take the 45-60 minutes to come to this amazing museum. Up there with the MOMA, DIA Beacon, Tate Modern and the Getty. You will not be sorry! The building is gorgeous and the collection is beautifully curated. The Highlight of our Hamptons weekend!

Today, I visited the museum with my two boys ages 4 and 2 for Community Day. Admission was free for the event and the museum was running stations for children to participate in art activities. There was also a musician performing, photo booth, and refreshments. The event itself was great. Since admission was free, it was a great opportunity to... More

My wife and I visited the Parrish Art Museum on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Senior admission was $8 and there are lockers available in which you can securely store your coats and belongings during your visit. A café is located across from the Visitor’s Services desk and continuing programs and workshop activities are offered in the rooms behind the Visitor’s... More

Parrish Art Museum moved to this new location a few years back and what a fantastic Museum it is. The building itself is an Architectural masterpiece, the outside is reminiscent of two conjoined longhouses and the inside affords each area a spacious exhibit room. The exhibits themselves are unique and individualistic. If you have even the smallest interest in art,... More

We held an event for about 150 people at the Parrish Art Museum last week and couldn't be more satisfied. We found the Parrish staff to be supportive and flexible. We were able to arrange our preferred caterer and create the exact type of event we were looking for. The space easily accommodated a group our size and the availability... More

We happened upon this museum on free day. Hooray. I'm All for supporting museums but every once and awhile it's a nice surprise. It will not take to long to pass through this museum as it is not very large. My favorites were the Eric Fischl works and the model of his studio.

Interesting architecture....essentially a NY trendy huge shed....it has it's good qualities, one of which is not the entrance, which I found impossible to find. After trying a number of different things that looked like doors we finally found a way in....wasn't the main entrance for sure.....very frustrating trying to get in to a huge building.....too much walking around outside looking... Much more engaging and interesting works than at other much larger museums, e.g., San Francisco MOMA. There is something for everyone. An added plus is that the audio guide is complimentary thanks to a generous donor. The space is large and airy and the natural setting is very inviting. Security staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the cafe was... More
