My 8-year old son had an awesome time here! The staff took their time helping us and teaching him at every turn. From the blacksmith, who kindly made him an "S" hook, to Rick, who gave us a private musket show! My son and I...More

We did not go in because they were closing fifteen minutes after we arrived about 4:45. It took us 15 minutes to read the plaques and take in the exterior of the building. We will be returning

Love this park. I grew up here. There a lot of single track bike trails behind the site that lead up to Temple Hill School. Come visit Revolutionary Era candlemakers, bakers, and ironworkers. Hear the cannons and muskets and drums of war. There is also...More

I grew up less than two miles from here. As I grew so did my appreciation for the significance for this place. It was here that the troops were informed that the hostilities with the British were announced to the troops quartered here. They were...More

Much research has gone into the New Windsor Cantonment; my parents were on the Board many years ago and were instrumental in much of what you see today. The Temple building is reconstructed within 18" of the original. I don't know what OhioBER was looking...More

Complete with guides dressed in costume who were extremely informative. The only downside was the bugs who ate us alive. spray and go!

I honestly admit I was expecting more based on the other reviews. The visitor center looks nice from the outside, but all it really contains is one small room with some displays and information about the conditions facing the Continental Army during its stay here....More
