The Stanley brings in lots of awesome shows throughout the year. I've seen a couple off-Broadway shows and a concert there this past year and enjoyed them all thoroughly. The theater is beautiful and the layout allows you to have a good view from pretty much any seat. There are also a couple really good restaurants nearby.

This 1920's movie palace has been renovated into a first class performing arts center. It is beautiful inside, a unique cross between Art Deco, Egyptian and Baroque! They host all kinds of events from touring Broadway shows, antique shows, Wedding Receptions to the annual local production of Scrooge! Any show or concert there is augmented by the wonderful ambiance of... More

We went to see Kinky Boots at The Stanley. Wonderful show with an enthusiastic cast. I remember going to The Stanley as a child (when it was also a movie theatre). In High School I went to concerts for the Great Artist Series. The recent renovations of The Stanley have restored it's beauty and grace as a magnificent theatre.

This is a fantastic historic theatre that was almost lost but is restored (needs any funds anyone would like to contribute). It host plays, receptions, tasting venues, music, antique shows, etc. It is available to be rented for different types of things. The main staircase if fashioned after the staircase in the Titanic. It is definitely worth touring or seeing... More

The Stanley is an early 20 th century theater that was designed for the non electronic acoustics available at the time. Every seat in the theatre allows you to clearly hear the performance with minimal amplification. Likewise visibility is great from every seat.

I've attended events at the Stanley my entire life. I can't imagine Utica with out it being here. Just saw Rick Z and his band with The Voice, Ryan Quinn. A great show.

I've been a member of The Broadway Theatre League for over 20 years and "The Stanley" provides the backdrop for it's Off Broadway productions, and it is a gem in central New York! It was completely renovated several years ago and the interior is breathtaking, with gold leaf accouterments, Meyda stain glass chandelier and great sound system, it is thee... More

"The Stanley", as we locals call it, is simply THE jewel in Utica. I could go on and on but this review is simple, go there. Attend anything that is there. You'll feel better just being in the facility. Read all the other reviews, then go.

Great theater. No bad seats and beautiful architecture. Kids loved the show. Parking not easy to find ... Had to park a little distance away and walk.
