Scenic railroads are just that..a way to see the countryside. This one took us to Old Forge where there was a layover where you could spend the afternoon. Lots of shops and restaurants.

Yes I would also say the best thing is to call. As I'm not sure of what specials they have. Some times they have groups making a special trip. Also I think they have a Web Site.

Their website would have the information you need but no, I don't think they have daily scenic trips. I think it depends on the time of the year. Some weeks there are many more trips than at other times.
