Beautiful!

Beautiful views. Only trail open in the winter is the short and pleasant walk 3/4 mile I believe....

This park is a short drive from Ithaca or Trumansburg, where we were staying. The view from the parking lot on an upper road is free and impressive. In winter, the falls were a frozen sheet; when we returned in the summer, the walk through the park was an easy hike on a shady, well-maintained path to the base view.

Our hosts "The Davids" at Halsey House recommended the New Years Day hike during our stay. It was a great experience from the welcoming hot drink, beanie and chap stick on registration. The guides were friendly, helpful and informative. The falls themselves are really spectacular and well worth the visit. It isn't far or hard to walk there. The day... More

Our hosts from Halsey House Trumansburg NY recommended the walk annual New Year's Day walk. Wonderful experience. We met new people and learned a lot of the region from state park rangers. I'd recommend it to anyone at any physical level.

Took a drive up the winding falls view road during an alumni weekend off-campus roadtrip during a Cornell reunion. Well worth the short drive away from Ithaca to witness the breathtaking waterfall!

Hiked in this park during our wine trail trip to Ithaca - finger lakes, there are several falls all stunning. If you like sightseeing and a bit of hiking, don't miss out this gem! This is a great place for outdoor activities.

The Falls is a great place for a day trip. You can hike from the top to the bottom which is a nice hike. Or you can drive- it'll take you about 5-10 mins to get from the top to bottom. There is more then just the big fall. Across the street is a series of little falls. All in... More

Not much of a hike, but a lovely walk ending in a gorgeous view of the waterfall. Definitely stop at the look out and get a view from above!

Couple different places to view the falls from. Either up top or from down below. If you are adventurous you can walk pretty much right up the the falls themselves. The falls were about a 1/2 to 3/4 mile easy pretty much level walk back in from the main road.

Visitor center is under construction, but that doesn't stop visitors from seeing the falls! Pretty overlook is an easy walk from your car, more challenging hike down the path.
