The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology is a hands-on science museum for people of all ages covering everything from Nano science to dark matter. We have hundreds of exhibits filling 35,000 square feet of space, as well as the only public planetarium in Central New York and the only domed IMAX(R) theater in New York state. This is a fun learning experience to take children for a day. There is a lot to do and its an open environment so they can run around and try many things without waiting.

I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit. We are working to add programming for high school students and adults, so look for that in the future. We believe that science is for everyone.

Went to see Polar Express - Make sure you sit at the back seats or you will end up with neck pain. This museum used to be good and had a lot more exhibit, but this time around I almost just felt sad for it....More

Very interesting with many educational activities for children including the Imax theatre and changing exhibits. Also, It has a huge indoor playground too.

See a film at the IMAX theatre. We saw the Polar Express and it was great. The exhibits are fun and educational for kids. However, the condition was disappointing. Many exhibits were missing or broken. None of the simulators worked. I would recommend the Rochester...More

Parking is a bit tough here, but this little museum was great! Our toddler was a tad young for it, but he was amused in the toddler space for hours and could have stayed longer. Would definitely go back!
