The sculptural impact of this memorial made it very moving for both of us. The names of the victims and the view of Manhattan combined in a very meaningful way to bring that terrible day back to life.

As you walk through this moving memorial, the names and profiles of the men and women who were murdered on 9/11 are written on either side. It faces directly across from The Freedom Tower, where Twin Towers once stood. It is a free ferry ride from Manhattan, then a short walk to the beautiful Memorial

Postcards is a tribute to Staten Islanders lost on 9/11. Its a solemn, stunning tribute that is open to the public. It also has beautiful views of lower Manhattan.

I rode the Staten Island ferry across from Manhatten just to walk around. This is really close to the ferry terminal on the Staten Island side. Nice view, small memorial with lots of construction around.

This Memorial is beautifully designed, and a fitting tribute to the many innocent lives lost in the horrific 9/11 terrorist attack. Make sure you see the memorial from every possible angle & perspective.

Located on the waterfront very near the Staten Island Ferry terminal, this is a brilliantly created memorial to Staten Islanders who died on 9/11. Each victim's 3 D profile has been carved onto the wall and the name is engraved beneath. Having known serveral of the victims, I can assure you that the renderings are SPOT ON...You truly have a... After parking for the Staten Island Ferry, we decided to walk over to the Postcards Memorial. It is a memorial dedicated to the 274 Staten Islanders that lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks. Quick fact: Staten Island had built this memorial so well and in great time it inspired lower Manhattan to finish their memorial quicker. Sunday, will mark... More

It's a memorial to those Staten Islanders whose lives were taken from their loved ones before their time.

Absolutely perfect memorial to those lost, I can't recommend it enough. It's quiet location and touching details without the need for tourist information make it an amazing place for quiet reflection.
