Lovely old buildings used as a backdrop for our photos. To have a photographer take your pictures will cost $50.00 For a permit to allow you to use the location. All the fee goes back into the site for the restoration project.

Richmondtown has been under construction now for 50+ years, with no end in sight, no goal in sight, no purpose in sight.

For a Swede this is an american Skansen. Old bulidings, people dressed as in that time. We really appreaciated the guides knowledge.

I can't believe SI has the oldest schoolhouse (1600's) in USA! You get to see an 1800's General Store, a 1700's house, and more.See the Courthouse, Museum, and wslk around the area. Check their website for events.

I think it means they don't have tours those days and the visitor's center and museum is not open. The grounds would be open because it is just out in the open on a regular street/neighborhood, you could walk through it. You... More
