Everything I was hoping for in a winery. To me, it's more about getting away from life, stress, nassau county and the daily grind. Was looking for a relaxing, rustic, non- commercialized place where people were laid back and chill. I Iike the mother-daughter combo,...More

Small tasting area with farmhouse look and feel. There are even chickens roaming in the yard. The staff is knowledgeable, laid back, and client focused. You'll be glad you made a visit.

This place stands out with it's farm-like charm and overall 'rustic' vibe. You're able to wander around freely while sampling some wines (~12$ for a sampling of four), or purchase wine by the bottle or glass. There are chickens that roam the grounds freely, which...More

Very small, newer winery. Not a huge selection and all wines are dry, but the staff was nice, there are chickens running around, and you can BYO food. Hope they succeed!

This was exactly what we were looking for this day, a quiet porch, comfortable chairs in the shade. The trees were gorgeous and we enjoyed listening to the owner tell us the history about the property. Plenty of space to wander and stretch your legs....More

We were happy to visit The Old Field Vineyard. Truly a low key, authentic and family friendly vineyard. We enjoyed the casual tasting, the out door picnic tables and the wondering chickens. We will certainly go back.

What a delightful visit! My mother and I stopped in to try the wines. We had recently enjoyed a bottle of their Commodore Merlot at the North Fork Table restaurant in Southold and wanted to know more about where this superb wine was produced. We...More

We've been here several times. The wine is good, the owner is one of a kind and the experience exceptional. The place is off the beaten path of many of the wineries. It is actually for those who really appreciate what the real wine growers...More

Old Field was the absolute antithesis of the other wineries we visited in the area. This place is tiny, basic, not fancy at all, and a bit rough around the edges. It is totally laid back and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. We...More
