I came here with my boyfriend after walking the town on skaneatles. Beautiful view--although I do wish there was more lawn space for picnic benches or places to sit. The next time we go I would love to check out the boat cruise they offer.

Such a pristine lake 365 days out of the year! There is no questioning why Skaneateles Lake was named the cleanest lake of all the Finger Lakes. Beautiful place to stop and have a picnic lunch, some coffee, or just to sit down and relax....More

We love visiting Skaneateles Lake and the entire village, though we usually go during the Dicken's Festival in December. We had a wonderful time strolling along the shops, especially the old antique stores and such. We loved the oil-and-vinegar store as well, which we'd never...More

HI, I am coming to Syracuse to visit ,my son and wanted a nice day trip. Thought this would be perfect. Can you suggest where to park and how to find out about the boat rides if they are still going on. If I was to arrive around noon, what aI should do all day and would you recommend good restaurants with water views.... for lunch and/or dinner? What should we not miss.....

Everyone has answered the parking question. Sherwood Inn is nice for lunch also and you can sit on the porch and view the lake. They have a tavern menu also. I don't think the boats are running now, but check with them... More

We are the Legion Riders from American Legion Post 735 in West Seneca. Each summer a group of us get on our motorcycles for a weekend of fun. We require at least 10 rooms within a short walk to dining and bars. Any advise is welcome.
