While on vacation in Saratoga we caught a concert at SPAC and sat in the covered seat area. When the rain came it was nice to not have to scramble for cover. We biked into the park but didn't realize how dark the park would...More

Not a bad seat in the house if you sit inside. Nestled in a state park, SPAC is a covered venue that feels like being out in the woods.

50th anniversary of the NYC Ballet in their summer home, Saratoga Springs, NY. Performed their original ballet, A Midsummer's Nights Dream ~ amazing!! This facility is gorgeous. Our timing was perfect to visit during the ballet!

I recently attended the two day Dave Matthews show. we had lawn seats. Even though Dave has been around since I was in high school he has maintained his younger audience and they came in droves. the concert almost had the feel of a giant...More

It's no gorge amphitheater but still very good, alot of reviews dumped on the lawn seats, saying they had no view, but I found the lawn had great views of the stage, biggest drawback was no dedicated walkways anywhere on the lawn. So once it...More

We just saw the Dave Matthews Band on Friday and Saturday. On Friday we we were inside which was so much better than the lawn. They oversell tickets on the lawn so you have no choice but to stand. We did have chairs but sat...More

The beauty of the adirondacks surrounding a wonderful venue adds to one of the best concert venues in the country. They have greatly improved traffic flow. A tip: try to park in a small lot like Ferndell.

What happened? SPAC used to be a great place to see a concert on the lawn. Saw DMB and the place was literally oversold by at least 10,000 -15,000 people. Parking is now $10, too. Got there early, set up my low chair as allowed,...More

I'm not 100% sure but I think the acts hire their own vendors. So it all depends on who is playing there and who they choose to provide food/drinks. When I was there for the Phish shows in 2016, I didn't find the prices as... More

Depends how you define walking distance? If you want to walk more than a mile, then yes, you can probably walk to these hotels in about 1/2 hour or more; otherwise the Gideon Putnam is the only close option.

Parking prices seemed to depend on the show. The Dead and Company shows had pre pay parking available for $30.
