The food tour is so much more than food. This was my wife and my first time in Saratoga Springs. Our guide, Joe, was great. He knows the people behind the food, be it the farmer at the market or the specialty food shop owner. You learn a lot about Saratoga Springs and many of the interesting people, like Joe,... More

My mother and I recently went on the Saratoga springs food tour. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during the tour, but afterwards began to question whether what we got was worth the price of the tour. While everything that we sampled was delicious, quite a bit of it was free for the general public to try. There were exceptions, including some... More

Thank you for your review. Yes, balancing food portions is a tricky business. We have organized our tour to be one more focused on tastings and learning about Saratoga’s food culture. We have about 10 different tastings during the tour. Some people have big appetites and expect to sit down to larger portions but most find themselves fairly full by... More

We started at the Saratoga Farmers Market and sampled a wide variety of things. Then we moved on to a haunted tavern and had half portion of bruschetta with steak on it. Last we strolled down Main Street and sampled olive oil, tea, and honey. We learned a lot of history about Saratoga Springs. You are paying for the history... More

We learned so much about the Saratoga Springs history along with see the city. Would really recommend this tour but make sure that you plan for more than the 2.5 hours. We had a great day.

This was a wonderful combination of foods and the history of the area. The tour started at the farmer's market, which was an incredible place. We then meandered up to the main street for several other interesting facts and tastes. Thanks for a great start to our vacation!

Can't say enough wonderful things about Saratoga Springs Food Tours! Joe and Jim are both excellent guides and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. It was the perfect way to spend the early part of the day before heading over to the racetrack. Going through the award winning Farmers Market, sampling local products, and all the while learning about Saratoga Springs'... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Jim. He was entertaining and knowledgable about Saratoga history as well as the food and vendors. Lots of unique treats along the way. The small lunch at Old Bryan Inn was delicious! Would highly recommend!

This was a fabulous tour! Joe and Kim were knowledgeable and lots of fun. From the best farmer's market I've ever visited to the heart of downtown Saratoga, this was a great way to spend the day. Everyone we met on the way was very friendly and added to the history and fun of the tour. It speaks well of... More

This food tour starts at the local market that is held downtown on the weekend. Many unique vendors with very fresh products.
