We stopped by Shtayburne Farm while driving through the Finger Lakes in New York. This is a dairy farm where they make cheese from their own cow's milk. We didn't get to see the operation in action but we did get to taste all the flavors of cheese they make. And they were all delicious! The man who helped us... More

Second time here, and just wasn't as interesting. Employees were cold, store needed cleaning, samples not in good shape. Made a purchase, but wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

The cheese here comes from the dairy cows at the farm on the same property. There were lots of cheese flavours to choose from, but I loved the Garlic & Herb Jack cheese and the cheese curds. The owner Lorin was very friendly, explained how the cheese is made. This is a great stop - support farmers!

Great stop and break from the wine trail. Convenient location and many variety of cheese samples available. Prices are reasonable. Best Pepper Jack cheese I ever had.

Cheese farm/store run by third generation family. They provided samples of all of their varieties in the tiny shop, and you can watch them make the cheeses right there. We bought several flavors and some of the other products, like jams, fudge, etc. The brother and sister working there were very friendly, and informative.

We just popped into their little shop, which was very clean, and had a variety of their cheeses to taste. Cheeses were excellent. The cheese making room was just off of the shop, you could see through the glass. Cashier was friendly and answering folks questions. They are located in a beautiful spot.

This place has a fun little tasting shop and probably had about 30 different varieties of cheese, including some curds. Also some great dips to try. I really liked the smoked Cheddar. Worth a short stop.

Wonderful cheeses, everything ready to be tasted and sampled! At first I had a hard time choosing, but the more you try, the more you buy!! I wish there was an opportunity to watch cheese actually being made, but we were there on a Saturday so there was no labor going on. Perhaps next time!

While on our Wine tour we stopped in for a visit, This is such a nice store, with a lot of samples of different cheeses and dips, nice to be able to try the cheese before you buy it, and you will buy more, because it is really good.
