This is one of our favorite local rainy day destinations with our 11 year-old grandson. We got the membership because it pays for itself in just a couple o f visits.

Hands-on science! Tons of fun for families with kids in the 5-12 range. My son attended summer camp there too for a number of years.

We visited here on holiday with our 3 year old. He absolutely loved it. The sand and water table was a massive hit as was the dinosaur zone with its dig site and bones! A real gem of a place and not expensive for what it is!

This museum has many hands on exhibits for kids, such as simulating digging g for dinosaur bones. Also, there are hourly demonstrations of science experiments. Surprisingly, on the top floor, there is am excellent exhibit about slavery and the Underground Railroad. Lots of interactive stuff for kids and adults to imagine what it must have been like to be a... More

My family goes here every year and we always enjoy it. My kids love all the hands on things to see and do. I very much liked the Da Vinci exhibit. We learn something new every time we go!

We miss this awesome exhibit, a few years back, when it was more local to us. We make a special trip to Rochester to see it before it left for Africa. Well worth the drive. Fantastic display of the Mona Lisa and all its mysteries. As an engineer I was floored by all Leonardo's inventions and ideas. This id a... More

Good for a couple of visits with kids. Not very big on new technology or hands on permanent displays. The virtual ride they have for free is so dated the neanderthal rode on it. Need to have less pay for play and more in your face excitement for this generation.

My boys, 5 and 8, love it here. They like it even better than Strong. I think their favorite part is the room where they can build inventions out of unlimited supplies of tape, paper cups, etc. The people who run that room really work with the kids to see their projects work. I was impressed. We made catapults the... More
