I recommend taking the tour when it's offered. It's not open until 1pm. I went early in the week when it was not open, but went back on the weekend when I had some free time. The tour is only $5, but you get a...More

The location of this lighthouse seems rather strange, unless the port/marina area has greatly expanded since the lighthouse was first operational. Its current inland location makes you wonder how ti would help ships out on Lake Ontario. We've been there a couple times, but we...More

This is off the beaten path and a chance to see a bit of history. Does not take a lot of time but is interesting. You can go up into the lighthouse. A lot of steps !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A short visit yet rewarding. The history and architecture were interesting. Truly a New York State moment.

Very detailed tour. Friendly hosts. Good views. Low cost. Nice grounds. Peaceful. Stairs may be difficult for some young or old.

The guide was very good. The light house is a tight fit and not appropriate for large groups. The house contains displays and artifacts. Very nice views from the top.

This is a small quaint lighthouse however the tour guides provide very in depth discussion about not only the lighthouse and its history but the history of the surrounding area. Definitely worth the $5.

Had a great time learning about the lighthouse and history and then we went to the top. The stairs are pretty steep and at the end you have to climb a ladder to get into the very top. But well worth it. The view is...More
