A little something for toddlers to adults. Vintage video games, blocks, puzzles, arts & crafts, etc. At $14 dollars there is a little sticker shock, but this is an ALL day outing. We didn't see a sizable portion of the exhibits in the 4+ hours we were there. Allow plenty of time to see everything. There is a cafeteria, replica... More

I have been enjoying going to museum of play with nieces and nephews for years. When my first son was born, he went for his first birthday. 3 years later we found out he has autism and this museum has been a great outlet for him. His little brother who is not on the spectrum enjoys it just as much.... More

This is the very best children's museum that we have ever been to. Clean, modern and up to date. Lots of hands on for kids at a very reasonable admission rate that families can afford.

The grandchildren just love visiting us and going to the museum. My daughter lives in Austin, TX and is so jealous what we have here in Rochester, NY.

This was our second time visiting -- girls were a little older and enjoyed everything. It was busy but it is so big that it all worked out. Would like to see more staff putting things back where they go, especially in the storybook/adventureland area. All the paper for the activities was used up so we were sending messages back... More

I have been to several children's museums in both large cities and smaller ones. None have come close to The Strong. I can't say enough good things about it. My nephew is almost 14 and still begs to come along with the rest of the group ranging from four up. It is both educational and fun. Adults seems to be... More

Kids under 10 will be blown away by the exhibits here, especially the ones showcasing the history of Sesame Street and the little Wegman's grocery store (they may spend hours alone there). If you manage to get to the rest of the museum, you won't be disappointed. The arcade section is amazing, some games are free, but many require tokens... More

Whenever my grandchildren visit we reserve at least 3 days to spend at "The Strong". They love the merry-go-round, the electric theatre, the crafts room, the second floor game area and the toy layouts, as well as the Wegman's store. We start with the butterfly exhibit and then spend as much time as they'd like in each area of the... More

I took my niece here over the winter, she is 5 and had a great time. We were there about half the day. It was great having the kids interact with each other and have a good time.
