My first visit to Half-Shire was wonderful. I was very impressed with all of the information they have. The volunteer that was there the day of our visit was very friendly and knowledgeable. She showed me a binder full of information on the family I was researching and made some copies for me. I plan on joining in 2019 and will make many more trips there.

The Half-shire specializes in the family history of part of Oswego County. They have an amazing collection of resources, which is growing all the time, and were very accommodating to our schedule with one day's notice. The volunteers are dedicated and super knowledgeable. It is a must visit for local genealogists.
