Did the Walkway Over the Hudson halfway the beginning of October when we dropped our son off at the CIA. It was a chilly windy day so we didn't go the full length, also I was disappointed that the leaves hadn't turned yet, but it's...More

We parked on the west side and biked out 9 miles before turning back. Pretty level terrain and it's awesome to start and end at the bridge.

A very nice way to spend a few hours. Beautiful views of the river and the boats. Watch out for the bikers.

Walkway over the Hudson is approximately a one hour drive from White Plains. We were expecting nice vibrant colors for the Fall leaves, but due to the warm September, the colors were muted at best. Mostly green leaves still around with sporadic bursts of color....More

This was a unique way to see Poughkeepsie. The walk was easy and the views grand. Parking was sufficient and if you are willing to walk a bit it's free. Make sure to bring your camera.

We parked just next to the entry to the walk and I don't remember paying anything. But I've seen the machine for payment at another parking lot. Hope it would help.
