We visited the Preserve and Falaise ----> both were wonderful. We had a perfect Saturday to enjoy the lovely grounds and visit the mansion. What I found extremely interesting was the close relationship that Harry Guggenheim had with Charles Lindbergh. I was unaware of that....More

Our fault, we didn't know any better when they told us the mansion wasn't open for a tour when we went. The grounds were beautiful and the view of the water is nice but I felt that the admission price should maybe have been reduced...More

Lots of interesting history here -- Lindbergh's station wagon still in the garage, a lady divorced her husband for Buffalo Bill, two big mansions, beautiful sandy beaches, inspiration for "The Great Gatsby". Well worth wandering if you are in the neighborhood.
