Pindar Vineyards encompasses more than 500 scenic acres. We grow 17 varieties of grapes, crafting them into some 23 varietals and proprietary blends. We produce 70,000 cases of wine a year, making us the largest vineyard on Long Island. But at heart we are still a family with a personal touch in every aspect of our business.

Worth a visit. Bought the Pythagoas which is rich and tasty. 2015 Riesling was refreshing. 2014 Moscato was bitey. 2015 Sunflower Chardonnay, off taste. 2014 Cab Sauvignon was soft and lacked flavor. 2014 Merlot was nice. 2014 Reserve Cab Sauvignon was soft with a little...More

Came here a year ago and back this time with 6 of us. The wine still all tastes the same to me - all the white's anyway!! True, the tasting room is always crowded and the tastings are on the lower end of the price...More

It is a nice weather visiting. We came specially for the Sun flower field. You can cut any sunflower for 1 each. It also has nice area for eating. So, you can have your own lunch there. They also have very nice restroom.

Pindar used to be a nice place to visit because they have good wines at a decent price with a nice atmosphere. Over the past 10 years more and more people are visiting the vineyard and the quiet atmosphere is totally gone. The tasting area...More

Pindar was one of the first wineries we stopped at 12-15 years ago. Fabulous facility, friendly staff, generous pours, and AFFORDABLE wines. It is our "go to" every time we are out on the island.

A great selection of wines and definitly one of the largest wineries on the north fork. The server was very knowledgeable about the wines and gave alot of pointers in what to taste for and helped us become more aware of the different flavors.

I had been to Pindar before in July and completely disliked the atmosphere. Some of the staff was downright rude and it felt more like a 20something's bar rather than a winery. They did however have good wines. So after a stop at a different...More

Wine tasting is $10.00 per person. No limit on how many people come, I saw buses come in. Open every day like 10-6 or 11-6.

We apologize for the delay, but this is not the best method to ask a question as we don't check this everyday like an email or phone message. A tasting is $10 for 5 wines. You can come with your group of 5 without a... More
