Pindar Vineyards encompasses more than 500 scenic acres. We grow 17 varieties of grapes, crafting them into some 23 varietals and proprietary blends. We produce 70,000 cases of wine a year, making us the largest vineyard on Long Island. But at heart we are still a family with a personal touch in every aspect of our business.

Pindar used to be a nice place to visit because they have good wines at a decent price with a nice atmosphere. Over the past 10 years more and more people are visiting the vineyard and the quiet atmosphere is totally gone. The tasting area...More

Pindar was one of the first wineries we stopped at 12-15 years ago. Fabulous facility, friendly staff, generous pours, and AFFORDABLE wines. It is our "go to" every time we are out on the island.

A great selection of wines and definitly one of the largest wineries on the north fork. The server was very knowledgeable about the wines and gave alot of pointers in what to taste for and helped us become more aware of the different flavors.

I had been to Pindar before in July and completely disliked the atmosphere. Some of the staff was downright rude and it felt more like a 20something's bar rather than a winery. They did however have good wines. So after a stop at a different...More

Driving out to the east end of Long Island is always a pleasant drive. Farm stands, wineries, marina's. We even saw deer crossing into the farm land. It is as a perfect day in November sun wa shinning band was playing and plenty of wine...More

I haven't hit them all. Of the 10 we did visit, this was by far our least favorite. Aside from the strange bar set up, and herds of people, the wine was absolutely terrible. Don't waste your time unless you're looking club scene

Hi, Maggie- Thank you so much for sharing your review. We are glad you enjoyed the wine and sorry you felt a "bit crowded in" during your visit. That day was the perfect storm of visitors inside, as it was literally storming outside. The Damianos...More

Wine tasting is $10.00 per person. No limit on how many people come, I saw buses come in. Open every day like 10-6 or 11-6.
