This small museum was hard to find and not too well advertised. It was good to see this after visiting the Akrotiri ruins.

This Museum is a compliment to the Akrotiri ruins and worth an hour or so to see the many historical artifacts uncovered at Akrotiri.

Could be overlooked, but is a must do for anyone interested in the history and culture not just of Santorini but of Greece. Well kept secret.

This hotel is somewhat hidden in Santorini. It is a quick visit and a good escape from the heat. Cheap entry and depending on how long you look at the artefacts should take no longer than an hour. If one is not too fascinated in...More

This is a small and sensibly priced museum (2 Euro) with a great collection of Craters and Amphorae, and other local artefacts. We really enjoyed it. Take about 30 minutes to see all.

To say that the building is nondescript is almost an exaggeration - you would think it is a local government office dealing with utilities - so follow the map carefully. There is a small square with a bench, under some trees, surrounded by shops. If...More
