After sampling their wine in the US, I wanted to go here and sample more. Learned that this is the only winery from Santorini that placed in the top 100 wineries in the world, and it also came highly recommended by the two hotels I...More

My husband and I stopped here on one of our last nights on the island for some food and wine tastings. We enjoyed all of the wine we tried here and the food was delicious as well. There were quite a few cats and kittens...More

We booked a wine tasting of 10 wines along with food of the region. The winery is a small but that does not mean it is not good as it surely is good. Domaine Sigalas is not far from Oia (at the top of Santorini)-...More

Nestled under vines you can enjoy their fantastic wines, overlooking the vineyard and enjoying the sunset behind it. My husband and I did, and it was nothing short of spectacular. They give you a pamphlet with information about their wines, and you taste your way...More

Sigalas is a cute winery off Oia, with a picturesque garden where you can enjoy you food and wine tasting. We went there late October and the hosts offered us a table in the sun with minimal wind to make us comfortable. We chose the...More

Decided to visit this winery whilst staying in Oia , having tried a couple of their bottles in local restaurants, only a 5 minute drive out of town but don't expect rows of verdant green vines, high tech production facilities, or slick marketing. This is...More

We enjoyed Domaine Sigalas for its relaxed atmosphere so much more than the big industrial winery in Thira. Here you sit on a quiet porch next to the vines, instead of being crammed cheek-and-jowl with 500 of your best friends in a noisy mega-restaurant with...More

Took a 20 minute hike from Oia (saw some vines on the way). There we took 12 wine samples, split them with gf, got some bread with olive oil as well. Worth the visit. Good price performance to get a general filing about assyrtiko and...More

We stopped in without a reservation, but they were very accommodating and were able to seat us at a table indoors. We were not able to do a tour or a true wine tasting, but we did each order a glass or two of wine....More

To be fair, we didn't even taste the wine - didn't make it very far past the rude waiter. After getting married the day before and an exquisite meal at Lycabettus Restaurant for our wedding evening dinner, we stopped by Domaine Sigalas on our way...More

It is always better if you do book at least 1 days in advance. Some days are less busy than others, but why risk it? Especially if you want a table with a sunset view.

It is very close. There are only a few taxi cabs in the entire island (35) so I would book in advance with the hotel and schedule pick up. If, instead, you are renting a car (ATVs are quite dangerous!) it will take you a few... More
