3rd visit to Sal and Santa Maria is getting more established every time. Would still leave it a few years before trying self catering... All inclusive is no stress 😎😎

This is a fantastic beach , long golden sands , hosting a plethora of people , taking part in many activities, water sports , boats fishing , popular bars and eateries. Or just a place to stop and soak up the sun and atmosphere!

This is a nice beach and Sal is a lovely island but a lot of work still needs to be invested in educating the locals and tourists on various environmental issues i.e. I witnessed children throwing plastic in the sea, tourists wasting water etc. Sadly...More

Second visit albeit 9 years inbetween visits. Not spoiled as feared following our earlier visit. A truly relaxing holiday to re-cahrge batteries.

A great beach for surfing at this time of year (January). A steady onshore breeze and loads of sandbars meant the body surfing was brill. The people are all really friendly, plenty of beachbars. Beach bum heaven😀

Beautiful and great place for all ages if it wasn’t for the winds. Perfect for kite and wind surfing.

Although Santa Maria is the main tourist town of the Island, the beaches are not that crowded. You can go for nice walks along the beach and there are several coffee shops where you can sit down.

Nice beach, long, sandy, with some fishing boats to make it more picturesque. But as elsewhere on the island - no shaddow

Not too big but chill beach opposite some nice restaurants. Good waves to learn surfing. No beach beds or umbrella's which made the beach really relaxed.
