Excellent beach white sand clear waters. The beach is vast, with a cafe at the far end of you need a drink. Local companies do tours to visit in quads or jeeps if you prefer

Most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Visit the little café just by the water. Delicious food and good cocktails

Sunday 14th November and we visited this amazing beach, it was one of the stops on our quad bike tour.

The beach is 15 kilometres of magnificent white sand and undulating dunes along the south west coast of the Island and it is Boa Vista's longest beach. The crashing of the waves, with their white foam and spray was a sight and sound to behold. The colour of the sea was spectacular.

Apart from the people on the tour, there was no one else there, we had this amazing place to ourselves

On arrival at the beach, our Guide informed us that we would not be able to swim in the sea as the current was too strong. A bit disappointing as we were all looking forward to braving the waves and to wash off the dust that covered us, however safety first better to be safe.

We spent about 20 minutes here clambering over the dunes, enjoying the amazing scenery. We found a medium sized piece of foam/rubber that had been washed ashore that we took turns to sand board down the dunes, all good fun. When we left we took the foam with us to be disposed of properly.

As we were driving along the track/dunes leading to the beach we did notice a rather large salt flats. We did not stop here, just a point of interest to keep an eye out for if driving by.

Our guide did inform us that most of the land around the beach had been sold for development and in time hotels will be along the dunes, so this piece of paradise will be lost. Privileged to have seen it in a perfect state.

Pure, soft, white sand continues 18 km or 11 miles. There isn't any buildings only sand, lighthouse in other end small beach bar in other end.

Kilometers of white sands and blue waters...just amazing. It is hard to believe that in 2019 you could still find a beach with all this practically only to you, as there was maybe 2 persons with us in sight. One should definitely visit there before they fill the place and solemnity with hotels. For us (6pax) it was 55eur roundtrip with taxi from Riu Karamboa. Stayed there couple of hours.

We travelled here on a quad tour and wow what an absolutely amazing place! Chrystal clear, warm se water and stunning soft white sand as far as the eye can see. My wife and I walked a little away from the group and it was easy to imagine we were the only people alive in the world, totally peaceful and beautiful, what an experience. We have been to many beaches throughout the world including the Caribbean, this is the best of the lot.

we arrived there with a quad tour, stayed for ca 1 hr. In the meantime I saw also some 4x4 trips, so you can use this alternative to get there. As it was far away from anything, there were a lot of birds and huuuge crabs that were behaving like fighters, ready to face a human! waves were too strong to try swimming but the shells indicated that also sea animals are bigger than in any other place. Totally worth going!
