Where comfortable shoes and check your fitness level as this trail can be demanding. Amazing way to see the gorge and rapids.

Yes there is boulder hopping so wear good shoes supporting your ankles. Aside from that it is not as difficult as the park rangers try to make it appear.

This was an excellent hike. I did both #2 and #5 hikes. #5 which is the whirlpool trail is the most challenging and of course the most rewarding. The stairs by devils hole was closed off for construction so couldn't do that bit. You will...More

The main parking lot for the park is $10 flat rate. It was full both days we went there and had to pay $20 flat rate at the nearby lot.

Completely agree with the other reviewer. There are a Lot of metal steps leading down into the gorge but other than than you'll have choices of how hard to make the trail. Do take water etc though. There's nothing anywhere... More
