The park offers you a good view of water flowing and eventually falling. Just stand there and see the American falls untill you get tired. Usually crowded. You can enjoy fireworks on weekends. A good place to sit and relax.

Not sure why, but the women's restroom was unbelievably filthy the day we visited the park. All else was a top-notch experience, with good facilities and magnificent sights.

While most people are going to head straight for Maid of the Mist or Cave of the Winds, the park itself is wonderful. There are a number of great, free, observation areas, lots of walking paths, and places to sit and hang out. It's great...More

We paid just 10$ to park at the visitor center and enjoyed walking around the viewing areas, including Goat Island, for no additional cost. Our family was recently traveling cross country and decided to stay in Niagara Falls NY as our half way point. This...More

The weather was perfect - not too hot and humid, and very sunny. We were able to get great views of the falls and the Niagara rapids and river. Stunning views to be had throughout the path. Once the school kids on a field trip...More

It's about a 30 minute drive from the airport. Mostly interstate. Rental car would be the best method. You will need a passport if you intend to go to the Canadian side of the Falls.
