The viewpoint/overlook of the whirlpool is super easy to get to from the parking lot - less than a 3 minute walk down a short path. There are paths where you can walk along the top of the gorge overlooking the water, but it's nothing...More

We unfortunately didn't have much time here, we literally stopped to view the whirlpool from the overlook, otherwise I probably would have rated 5 stars. The scenery is beautiful! We met some nice folks from Buffalo who told us about the stairs you can descend...More

Loved the view, the history, the bathrooms... bit of a walk though. Not easy for disabled people. It is wheelchair accessible. Have someone with strong back push you though

Adults and children will enjoy this. There is so much history and science involved in this area. Kids will be able to talk about this for years.

If you have a chance to get out of the Niagara Waterfalls area, I recommend Whirlpool State Park which is located north of Niagara Falls city and with a few minutes by car or by Niagara Shuttle. The Park is the NY state park system...More
