Devils Hold state park is on the American side and definitely worth a visit when in the Niagara Falls area! Walking trail runs all along the river gorge. There are also picnic tables and other activities too

I stopped here on my way to Niagara Falls. It does not show the falls from here but it does show the amazing Niagara River and how beautifully clear it is. There is so much water and it is traveling so fast. You should definitely...More

This trail is only for people who are comfortable with descending and climbing a large number of steps and can handle an unimproved trail. To be so close to the rapids is an awesome experience.

Nice views of the whirlpool area, but that's about it. FREE though, and right off the main highway. We hit this on our way back from Fort Niagara

Excellent State Park with access to a bike trail that runs along the Niagara River on the US side in both directions. Even better is the fact that access is free as is parking.

Interesting area and it's cool how the water turns to go back the other direction. Not sure that I would pay for the skyview that goes across to see it more closely though.

Giving this hike 5 stars because we added on the 3.5 mile addition of heading towards the Whirlpool, which is an “out and back” extension in the direction of the falls (as in Niagara Falls). Signage not the best, but as one other reviewer said,...More

Litter and general upkeep not as meticulous as the rest of the State Park. Still worth the trip while you are up there.
