There are really no words to describe the beauty and power of the falls. It is well worth it to walk or drive to the Canadian side, totally different perspective. It's marred only by the development of highrise hotels, casinos, etc.

Excellent great to do off season, very crowded. There is a new walking path to the falls, starts at 4th St. Beautiful walk to the falls

Though we've seen a lot of enormous falls in our different trips, Niagara falls was still a sight to behold. The illumination at night added excitement to the place.

We stopped here again and it is always awe-inspiring. One of the worlds natural wonders. Even if you don't take a cruise and just take in the view, it a must see if you're anywhere nearby. Our first time here was as we were leaving Cooperstown, NY and this time on a Canadian coach tour. Have your camera ready!

We love waterfalls and have seen quite a lot of them (Angel Falls, Kaieteur Falls, Iguazu Falls, etc) and were expecting these to be less impressive. But they were actually much bigger and impressive then we expected. I just don't give 5 points because of the surroundings. This nice piece of nature is surrounded by the ugliest of buildings and... If you love taking walks with beautiful views, you need to visit Niagara Falls. I stayed on the New York side which allows you to be next to the rivers and be able to feel and hear the roars of the rushing waters. The feeling you get is unexplainable. Great place to take the family.

Not much to do on the American side, but still beautiful. Great to see once you are up near the actual Falls. I would highly recommend the fireworks in the evenings. But if you want to walk around, you will need to walk across the Rainbow Bridge to the Canadian side.

Great getaway with much to see and do, but all in the Canadian side. Plenty of restaraunts and attractions. You definitely want to see the falls at night.

People say it wouldn't look as good on the American side but new and my wife loved it and when I got there I heard American side has more to see than Canada side. I can't say for sure if it true but I can't wait to go back and find out
