It's a really fun museum and a must see in the NYC area. I don't even like motorcycles and I loved it. Plan a visit to the Liberty Street headquarters of George Washington in the Historic City of Newburgh and get a snack on Liberty St before taking a $2 ferry ride over to DIA Beacon!

We had no idea this amazing museum was in Orange County, what a find! One can spend an entire day here and just manage to see it all. From the historic bikes, to the famous and creatively designed ones, there's something for everyone. The staff is fantastic, well informed and happy to fill you in on the history of the... More

I've been to Motorcyclepedia twice. It really is an amazing collection of bikes, especially very early bikes. The staff are friendly and the displays are first rate. The only thing I could wish for is more details and narrative for each old bike. Maybe some more signs with the specifications and story of each model.

What a great place! Without a doubt the prime exhibit is the Indian collection. There can not be a more complete collection anywhere. Beyond that the primary brand focus is Harley's with and interesting exhibit of choppers and custom bikes. There is also a good exhibit of other rare American brands. Bikes from other countries are shown in limited quantities.... More

We always have a good time at Motorcyclepedia. The number and quality of cycles are amazing. Visitors are allowed to sit on some of the cycles which makes for great pictures and a lot of fun. The staff is friendly and have great stories to go along with the cycles.

We could not believe how many motorcycles they had. I am not a buff and I found it very interesting. It was well arranged and captioned. We spent over 1 1/2 hrs. and enjoyed every minute.

Thanks to collaboration with the Cornwall Historical Society, the Motorcyclepedia Museum opened its doors last Monday evening for a tour of its amazing collection of motorcycles, dating from 1894 through the 20th century. Including originals and replicas, the collection is an extraordinary reflection of history and culture as well as of the art and development of the motorcycle itself. Two... More

It looks like a really great museum for people who are into motorcycles! There are tons of bikes, on 2 floors, people to answer questions (but you have to look for them), a room of prized bikes, a room of Indian (brand name bikes), in which you can see the development of motorcycles, a floor of pretty funky looking motorcycles,...
