Went for a walk every morning I was there, and had a day on the beach the last day, very clean and water lovely and warm. Right across from the Inn I stayed in.

I grew up here, so I am biased. If you enjoy watching the boats coming in and out of the inlet, watching the sunset from the Jetty, walking miles along a curving strand of mostly deserted beach, exploring dunes with blueberry bushes and all sorts...More

This is a different experience than the ocean beaches south of Montauk Highway, but lovely. Great for families: There are restrooms on site, tiny waves, roped off swimming area, and a life guard. It is not overflowing with hipsters drinking and playing frisbee. Lots of...More

We went in late Sept. and I was dissapointed with the beach as it was deserted, slightly dirty and just a bit depressing.

Nobody there at the end of September. But there were trucks and motor homes on the beach in the State Park. So we paid the $40 to enter the State Park, and our 4 wheel drive Range Rover got stuck in the access road -...More

This is a beautiful beach. You can collect shells, fly a kite or watch the boats come in and pass Gosmans.

Great little beach just off the inlet where the water gets a bit rough from the boat traffic. There's bathrooms and a food truck. You could walk the jetty from this beach.

We've been going to MTK for 35 + years, mainly on the ocean side. Now that were just a bit older, we sometimes go to Gin Beach for break form the crowds and the craziness on the ocean. The beach is a bit rocky so...More

Calmer waters than the Atlantic (south) side of Montauk. Good for kids, especially younger ones. There is RV camping available further down the beach. Be mindful about having a parking pass- I saw enforcement come by pretty early (before 9am).

Gin beach is on the north shore-east of the inlet to the harbor--just take east lake drive all the way up--pass the airport on your right
